Eight years ago today we were married in Vegas. Thank you for making me smile every single day. I love you more and more.

We were lucky enough to bring in the New Year in Vegas in 2000-2001---to mark the Millennium. The streets were full of craziness.....I little scary for us. This is about as crazy as we get :)

 

Organizing for the New Year.........

 

Oh goody! A new Storage magazine is out :) I was taking a few gifts back (not saying what).....I'd rather not tell. Anyway, had a few dollars credit.....so I picked up the BH&G magazine, file labels and a king size Kit Kat, because I feel I may need it when I see our budget.

The file holder and files are from Target and sold separately. Need to pick up a few more.....didn't realize I had so many categories. Not a good thing.......utilities, TSP, dog licenses, business info, car insurance, medical, receipts, BILLS and the list goes on. I even made each family member a separate folder, hoping this helps keep us organized. Maybe I'm getting old, but I really do want to know where every cent of our money is going.  

I put the coffee house station on satellite (my favorite music station---love acoustic), got the next best thing.....or is it the first best thing...diet coke and chocolate (not counting my husband) and started labeling folders and organizing.

 

My girlfriend gave me this cute basket and I filled it in no time with stamps, notepads, return address labels, glue sticks, thank you cards, file labels, finger nail files (just in case), shopping list, sticky notes.....etc. Oh and chapstick :)

I made the little pencil box by covering a paper-mache box with pretty paper and adding some feathers. Probably a 2 minute project. Fill it up with pencils, pens and scissors.....you're on your way. Just makes it look real perdy.

Keep thank you cards and postage stamps on hand, it's so easy to remember this way.

 

OK, now it's time to read my magazine. I'll post pictures of our little office (closet) in a few days. I think it's purpose was originally a Christmas tree closet.....not for us, so now it's a mini office and wrapping station. Happy Week!
