oh you peanut butter egg....you devil you

 

The peanut butter egg, looks very innocent. Not so much. My husband buys me these little devils each holiday season. I Love them! You would think I'd gobble them up in one sitting....nope. This drives my husband crazy, I put them in a secret hiding place and just look at them. When the mood strikes, I eat one.....I try to save them until each new season---probably just afraid I won't have any left. Weird huh? The peanut butter cup, not the same. Not even close.

 

Jake and I have been a bit under the weather, so I'm very behind on orders, new bunnies and Annie's. This little Annie is in my Studio available to order, this gal is sold but others to follow with different dresses and faces. I sure hope to have more Midge and friends finished this Saturday.

 

Here is the Easter tree, finally decorated. I sure wish the photos would do it justice.

feeling a bit cheeky......

 

This recipe has been calling me for over a week. Thought I'd give it a try, found the Peach Pie recipe in my free Kraft magazine that I get in my mailbox.

 

Pretty little spring lights around my dining room hutch. I also added a few bunnies and a really cool chick. I'm still working on decorating my spring all year round tree. It may turn into a 4th of July tree by the time I get around to it :)

 

Peaches 'N Cream Cheesecake

2 cups graham cracker crumbs
6 TB butter, melted
1 cup sugar, divided
4 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
1 pkg. (3 oz.) Jello peach flavor gelatin
15 oz. sliced peaches or 2 chopped fresh peaches
8 oz. cool whip

Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and butter. Press in 9 x 13 pan, refrigerate while preparing filling.

Beat cream cheese, remaining sugar in larger bowl until well blended. Add gelatin, mixing well. Fold in peaches and cool whip. Spread over crust; cover. Refrigerate 4 hours.

This recipe calls for Neufchatel cheese and lite cool whip. I just used the good ole originals..... " Suit yourself", that's what my Dad always says :)
