Mr. Skeleton seems to be wearing out his welcome this month. I'm sure glad he doesn't eat much :)
Tonight we had Garlic Chicken, Baked Potatoes and Garlic Breadsticks.
I love Jamie Oliver's Garlic Chicken, we make it all the time. It's in his cookbook, "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution". You can find the recipe here. It's always a big hit around our house.
I also made a new breadstick recipe tonight........so GOOD! I've never had the Pizza Factory Breadsticks but these are based on their recipe.
1 1/2 cups warm water 1 TB dry active yeast 2 TB sugar
Add to mixing bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.
3 1/2 cups flour 1tsp. salt
Mix until well combined and let rest for 10 minutes.
Roll out on floured surface in square shape. Brush with melted butter, parmesean, garlic sprinkle and kosher salt. Fold dough in half and cut in 1 inch strips and twist.
Bake in a 400 degree oven on cookie sheet for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with additional butter, garlic sprinkle, parmesean and kosher salt. I always subsitute garlic powder or garlic salt with "Garlic Sprinkle". You can find it in the spice section.
