There is nothing better than BLTs for dinner in the Summertime.
My dad was a wonderful gardener and grew Perfect Huge Tomatoes (sure he used miracle grow but he wouldn't care if I told you).
So far we have tons of Romas and a few Early Girls, the others and a few Romas will be ready for Salsa in a few weeks.
I have a love hate relationship when making Salsa. I just love hearing the jars pop at the end of the day but the canning process and chopping away....not so much :)
So I found this Great Bread Recipe. I had to go hunting because I usually only eat wheat bread and had no wheat flour in the house.......just bread flour.
I'm really glad this happened because now there is no going back with this bread+blt's.
My BLTs are a little sloppy and loaded with love. Lots of bacon, mustard, a dab of mayo, tomatoes galore, lettuce, salt and pepper.
This bread makes it a show stopper and it's SO EASY!
So grab yourself some tomatoes and make yourself a little sandwich or two :)
Maisey laughs..........at what, I'm really not sure :)
