More bread......I sure love making bread.
Dan and I always wonder what it would have been like if we would have been together right out of high school.
I would have loved to live in Seattle....renting a sweet little cottage for two.....would have loved to go to college there. I would buy bread at the market and Dan would bring flowers home. We would walk in the sand......listen to music. No worries.
Well.....in my perfect.....would a could a been world :)
Things happen for a reason and really....I wouldn't change a thing.
Chocolate Sour Cream Banana Bread
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
4 bananas, mashed
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup sour cream
Combine flour, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt in bowl. Set aside.
In large mixing bowl cream butter and sugar. Gradually add in eggs one by one, just until combined. Stir in bananas and vanilla.
Sift in dry ingredients, just until blended. Stir in sour cream.
Pour batter in two greased 9x5 inch loaf pans. Bake 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes and transfer to wire rack to cool.
