I'm trying to pull myself out of these January (after Christmas) blues.
We've been doing a little Spring cleaning ....finally almost finished with our kitchen. Last year we fizzled out with the kitchen and a few rooms---but we almost made it! This year, we're going to start a lot earlier.
I went to a really fun Crafty Girl's Nite on Friday---we made darling paper tissue heart wreaths. Such a cute little project, relaxing and it kinda takes you back to when you were a kid. The ladies I craft with are so incredibly sweet and kind :)
We made a few new recipes for the Super Bowl----Dan's copy cat AppleBees Buffalo wings were the show stopper. I'll post all of the recipes over at my recipe site this week.
But here's a few in case you want to make them :)
Football Pepperoni Pizza
homemade pizza dough or Rhodes bread
parmesean grated cheese
Prepare your pizza dough, I love using Pioneer woman's pizza crust. Shape your dough on sprayed cookie sheet in a football shape.
Spread pizza sauce, a sprinkle of parmesean cheese, mozzarella and top with pepperoni slices to look like a football. Lastly, place pieces of string cheese.
Bake according to your pizza recipe.
Ranch Cheddar Salsa Dip
16 ounce container sour cream
1 package ranch dressing dip mix
1 small jar salsa, we used homemade
1 to 2 cups colby/jack shredded cheese
MIx together and chill for 2-3 hours. Serve with veggies and chips :)
I'll post this lover of a recipe this week----laaaa-laaaa- LOVE
This is the first time we played Super Bowl Commerical Bingo.......Jake absolutely loved it :) My personal favorite was the Taco Bell commerical :)
Genius....and I really wish in my heart that this stuff really happened :) lol
a Chili's copy cat salsa recipe.......
Until next time......xo
