I found myself doing everything BUT what was on my "list" today.
Sometimes that's when things turn out the best :)
Happy Easter to you and yours!

Lots of sugar going on this week.
Probably too much.
Went on a sweet date with Jake. I am totally in LOVE with Great Harvest. My favorite is the Tomato Basil soup and a slice of honey whole wheat. Of course we always get a cookie for dessert.
I could never pass by a sugar cookie with this much frosting :)
This week I made Trisha Yearwood's Peach Cobbler. Super fast and easy----but a little goes a LONG way.....and coming from me that's really saying something!
When I need a really quick dinner---nothing is better than Sweet and Sour Chicken. We love this recipe and make it at least twice a month.
Happy Easter Weekend!
1/2 cup butter1 cups self rising flour1 cup milk1 cup sugar1 quart fresh canned peaches, reserving juicewhipped toppingcinnamon
Melt butter in 9x13 baking dish. Whisk together flour and sugar. Gradually add milk and reserved peach juice.
Pour in baking dish on top of melted butter. Add peaches on top.

As luck would have it.....the Leprechaun paid us a visit.
Jake set his trap, but the Leprechaun was a wee bit too sneaky.
He left rainbows in a few doorways and a mess of muddy green foot prints.
I do think he felt bad because he left us all a little treat.
Pot of gold candy rainbow packs and rainbow Skittles.
The printables for the Skittles can be found at Litl' Luna.com.
We celebrated at Iggy's but not for too long because we knew the Leprechaun may come back for more foolishness.
We ate Jello Lime Poke Cake and Rainbow Rice Krispies for dessert with green punch.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
