Journaling is good for the soul.
I don't stick with a particular year for one book, when I'm journaling. If I have a special picture or a great memory, that goes in the book. If I need to vent or feel incredibly happy---that goes in.
Sometimes it will be a favorite recipe, an old photo, or just how I'm feeling that day. Today, it was taking photos of hats and gnomes. It's going to feel great to give these to lots of special people in the Fall.
Journaling, knitting and gardening always make me feel better.
