I love putting these little layouts together for my Project Life and Scrapbooking. I find most of them at AC Digitials......they really make my books come to life and tell the story. This is one project I've really been able to stick with---it's my little bit of time here and there----and I really look forward to that :)
I've been on a smoothie kick for a few weeks-----mixing it up this time with blueberries and strawberries. I like to throw different things in here and there. Blueberries are incredibly healthy, so tasty and I LOVE how they pretty up my smoothies.
Plus, I really love purple :)
Tomorrow I'm going to get all of the Thanksgiving table decorations set and bake a few pies in the evening. Just pumpkin this year---but I did sneak in a Marie Callender Key Lime Pie. I sure hope it's a good one.
I'm sure going to miss these bike ride adventures! I think it's time to put the bikes away until Spring :(
Baby....it's COLD OUTSIDE!!! Much too cold for a girl like me.
This week we've been visiting friends and family. We have lots of November birthdays---so we've been in party mode :)
It feels good to start decorating for the holidays and do a little rearranging. We are still keeping all of the fall like, Thanksgiving decorations out, so just decorating around everything. Thanksgiving is so late this year--makes you want to get a head start.
It's kinda fun to just add a little bit of sparkly Christmas magic to the pumpkins and hay bales.
We bought our groceries for the big day, so that's always a big relief. Just one day of work this week and then I'm off for a week----YAY! That always perks me up. I need to get back to my crafty self again---I've been missing her. I hope she comes back soon.
All week they said a storm was brewing for the weekend. I knew Friday would be one of the last days for awhile to go on a bike ride. Jake and I headed to the trails......we didn't get too far, my tire went flat :( We were pretty far away, so Dan had to get off work during lunch and rescue us.
Jake was so disappointed, so was I......so we went for a neighborhood walk and found a horse or two. Note to Self: Do not wear clogs for walking on long adventures. Not even if you love them and they are new and you think you'll be OK. You probably won't.
Well, Sunday came. It was mid afternoon, no storm here. The sky was perfect. We flew out of the house and off we went. One of the most gorgeous afternoons ever but very, very cold.
So cold I looked like an amazing Dork with my huge pom pom ski hat on under my bike helmet. I have the pictures to prove it, but they ain't goin on here :)
