I made these on Christmas Eve and they were incredible. I've had the recipe for a long time and always wanted to try them.
We received a nut roaster for Christmas a few days earlier, so I thought that was the perfect time to make them.
Of course we had to make them again for New Year's Eve and probably again for the Super Bowl :)
Cinnamon Sugar Candied Almonds
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 TB ground cinnamon
2 cups natural whole almonds
In saucepan, combine sugar, water and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
In nut roaster or frying pan, add almonds and stir in sugar mixture. Stir constantly on medium heat until all liquid is absorbed.
Place on wax paper covered cookie sheet to cool.
