Found this recipe on one of my favorite cooking sites, Bakerella and had to try it.
Cookie Dough Brownies
1 box Betty Crocker Supreme Brownie Mix
1 pouch Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Mix
Prepare brownies as directed on box, mixing well. Spread in 9 x 13 greased pan.
Make cookie dough as directed on package, drop by heaping tablespoons over brownie mixture. Press slightly.
Bake 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
Cool completely and frost with chocolate ganache or frosting of choice.
Ganache Recipe:
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
6 TB butter
12 ounce semi sweet chocolate chip morsels
Combine butter and cream in saucepan. Just before mixture begins to boil, remove from heat and pour over chocolate chips. Let stand 20 seconds. Stir until smooth and creamy. Pour over cooled brownies and frost.
When ganache is set, cut in bars. I personally think vanilla ice cream is a hit with this one :) Oh sure, grab some milk too.
