Love notes......

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Jake was assigned the letter "T". We wanted to come up with something a little cute and clever.

This was one of the first printables I spotted and LOVED it! It must have been meant to be :)

I love having little notebooks on hand for gift giving, so these worked out perfect.

I found the printables over at Skip to my Lou. She has a darling blog full of fun printables and crafts.

Dan's been working on our chicken coop and I've been gardening like a mad woman.

Christmas Vacation

 

A few weeks ago, Jake and I made juice box zipper pouches.

Jake has been recycling these all year :)

We also made a beach bag but I still need to attach the handles.

There are so many tutorials on these---very fun and easy to make.

 

Reindeer Rootbeer Pops, Movie Passes and Candy.

I made these for my sisters, girlfriends and Jake's teacher this year.

They were a huge hit. It was a darling idea I snagged from Pinterest.

 

Goodies from the neighbors :)

We've been baking for the neighbors all day.....my favorite part is packaging everything up. I love using old fashioned tins, cute plates and cellophane bags with tinsel, ribbons and bells.

Magic.

Not so much the clean-up.....I'm a very Messy cook.

My dad would have told you this.

Dan would like to second this :)

 

Our neighbor gifts this year......

Cocoa packs, gingerbread marshmallows and candy canes. Just enough for each member of their family.

and a few baked goodies. Peppermint Bark, Chocolate Toffee, Fudge, Wedding Cookies and Caramels.

I'll post the caramel recipe tomorrow :) I think I'm going to go pass out now....zzzzzzzz

She's always there, keeps your secrets, laughs at your not so funny jokes and is always on your side.
